Case Study: Established and Operated the Web Department for a Welfare Support Facility

In this project, I supported a Type-B Continuous Employment Support facility by launching its Web department and building a sustainable operational structure.

My role extended beyond production tasks—covering staff and user training, workflow optimization, IT tool implementation, and creating comprehensive manuals.
It was a rewarding project, especially because the work directly contributed to “supporting someone’s ability to work.”

I provided support across both the Web and operational improvement areas, including:

Development of Web Learning Materials & Learning Support System

Created video and document-based training materials and established a progress-management system to help users learn independently.

Website Renewal to Increase Inquiries

Redesigned the website to clearly communicate the service offerings, resulting in more inquiries for facility tours and consultations.

Visualization & Automation Using Google Apps Script (GAS) and Power BI

Automated reports such as daily logs, attendance, and work records—reducing staff workload and improving transparency.

Staff Training & Manual Development to Reduce Dependency on Individuals

Developed a structure that allows stable operations even when staff members change roles.

Google Workspace Implementation & Access Control Setup

Centralized staff account management and built a secure system to handle personal and confidential information.

Unified curriculum levels to eliminate inconsistencies in instruction, making training manageable with limited staff.

User Interviews & Article Creation

Interviewed facility users and produced articles for promotional use—from research to writing and publishing.

Creating the Foundations for “Meaningful Work”
