Case Study: Pixel-Perfect Coding Based on Figma Designs
This project showcases the coding work I handled for CLOVER’s corporate website, developed from designer-created Figma files.
Project Background
CLOVER is a company specializing in beauty and wellness products and services.
They required a stylish yet user-friendly website that reflected their brand identity.
Using the provided Figma designs, I was responsible for front-end development, including responsive implementation across devices.
Scope & Key Points
● Interpreting Design Intent — “Reconstruction, Not Just Tracing”
Although the design was provided in Figma, I focused not on simply replicating the layout, but on understanding the intention behind the spacing, structure, and component hierarchy.
Based on this interpretation, I reconstructed the design to function optimally on the web while preserving the designer’s intended aesthetic and atmosphere.
For example, fixed spacing that works in Figma may behave differently in a browser.
This project required precise adjustment skills to maintain the right balance in layout, spacing, and interactive behavior across different screen sizes.
● Modern and Flexible Implementation
The development incorporated modern, maintainable techniques such as:
- Responsive coding (PC / mobile)
- Component-based structure (header, footer, reusable sections)
- Scroll-triggered fade-in animations and micro-interactions
- Attention to performance and clean, scalable architecture
What This Project Reinforced
This project reminded me that coding is not merely about “reproducing” a design — it’s much closer to translation.
It’s about understanding the designer’s perspective and faithfully expressing that vision within the constraints of the web environment.
This experience strengthened my ability to act as a bridge between design and development.
